AnDyke Industries Logo

Received a simple brief from a friend for his bourgeoning new warehouse business.
“AnDyke Industries” – He liked the simplicity and weighty presence of these industrial logos, but also wanted to explore some bauhaus inspired curves as well. He included some images of the tools he tends to use as additional inspiration to explore, and away we went.
After a smattering of half-baked ideas around Christmas time, and some back and forth email collaboration It was clear that the blocky “ULine” style logo was more the direction he wanted to head.

Colors? Only 3, and two of them needed to be classic black & white. The color accent should be Industrial inspired, and those colors tend to lean toward warning label reds, yellows and oranges. Classic.
We honed in on the “block & punch” style letters, with a thin separator line atop a more technical/mechanical font for the full word “Industries”. I was digging the “Illuminati-A” and threw that in one of the color references to give it a spotlight. That was the winner.

Rendered in both black and white dominant variants, and popped with an industrial orange, this logo was ready to some heavy lifting.
