Milchick Dance (W.I.P.)
DISCLAIMER: This is still a work in Progress
I have wanted to animate a dance for a while now, but even with the advent of the Tik Tok dance crazes, I hadn’t found one that really spoke enough to me, that I’d want to spend my time on it. That is, until I saw Tramell Tillman’s wonderfully bizarre performance in the Season 2 finale of “Severance”!
The marching band staff contacts, slick spins, and that rhythm? I knew I had to jump on it.
The whole sequence is on 2’s as a stylistic choice I’ve enjoyed exploring. I’m still polishing the timing/snappiness of certain beats with the rhythm, strengthening silhouettes, and finalizing the environment for the final lighting collab. Stay tuned!
*I had to put the project on the shelf (a couple times now) when I get picked up for full-time contracts, but will be jumping back on it ASAP.
